Numerical Control Machine Tools

Numerical Control (NC) machine tools, abbreviated as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine tools, are electromechanical integrated products that have been comprehensively applied for the past thirty years, combining multiple technologies such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, microelectronics, and information. They possess advantages such as high precision, high efficiency, high automation, and high flexibility in the field of mechanical manufacturing equipment.

The level of technology of CNC machine tools and their percentage in the production and total ownership of metal cutting machine tools are important indicators for measuring a country's national economic development and overall level of industrial manufacturing.

The spindle is an important part of the machine tool structure and plays a crucial role in improving processing efficiency, expanding the range of processed materials, and enhancing processing quality. The main drive system of full-function CNC machine tools mostly adopts stepless speed regulation.

Requirements of VFDs Used In CNC Machine Tools

 High torque at low frequency

Select a vector frequency inverter capable of delivering 150% of rated torque at low frequencies (1~10Hz) to ensure normal cutting work at 100r/min speed with low-speed high torque.

Fast torque dynamic response, high speed stability accuracy

Select a vector frequency converter to achieve excellent dynamic response. Respond quickly to changes in load by changing the output torque, thereby stabilizing the shaft speed.

  Fast deceleration and stopping speed

The acceleration and deceleration time of CNC machine tools is usually relatively short, typically around 2~3 seconds, requiring a vfd equipped with a braking unit according to customer requirements.

  Stable speed without loss of synchronization

During thread machining, it is required that the speed difference remains within a few revolutions to avoid uneven thread pitch.
