In the field of textile engineering, spinning and weaving are two completely different processes. Spinning is the preliminary process of weaving. Twisting belongs to the post-spinning process. For short staple yarn, twisting makes the fibers intertwine more tightly, giving the yarn certain physical and mechanical properties.

As a type of twisting equipment, the double twist frame achieves one rotation and two twists, doubling the efficiency compared to traditional twisting machines, increasing the winding capacity, and significantly improving the quality of twisting.

VFD Technology Principle

The double twisting machine belongs to the equipment of pre-weaving preparation process. As a type of twisting equipment, traditional double twisting machines only use one motor as power, which is distributed to each spindle, winding axis, and traverse rod through belt transmission mechanism and gear mechanism. When twisting yarns with different counts and strands, the spindle speed needs to be changed. Traditional double twisting machines accomplish this process by replacing the belt pulley, which is not only inefficient but also requires specialized maintenance workers.

With the continuous development of modern variable frequency drive (VFD) technology, infinite speed regulation of three-phase asynchronous motors has been achieved. It can adjust the motor speed according to the different processing requirements, satisfying the speed required by the processing technology.
